5 Simple Changes to Start Losing Weight Today!

 1. REPLACE YOUR DAILY SODA WITH WATER:

Most sodas are loaded with high fructose corn syrup and sugar. Soda drinkers are more at risk for developing diabetes, high blood pressure, and becoming obese.

 2. CUT OUT THE LATE NIGHT EATING:

Try not to eat up to three hours before bed. Digesting food while sleeping is known to provoke weight gain. Give yourself a time to start eating and stick to it!

3. SAY “NO” TO BAD CARBS:

Know the difference between good and bad carbohydrates. For example, choose whole wheat pasta over white pasta or substitute white rice for brown rice. Things like quinoa, black beans, and wheat flour are all good carbohydrates. However, things like cupcakes, white bread, and potato chips are all bad carbohydrates.

 4. START OFF WITH A GREEN LEAFY SALAD

Try eating a salad 15 minutes before a light dinner. It takes about 20 minutes for your brain to tell your stomach that it’s full and had enough to eat. This will fill you up faster, and help resist the urge to go back for seconds.

5. START YOUR MORNINGS WITH A WORKOUT:

 Exercise in the morning, rather than at night. Once you get your metabolism started for the day, it goes for about 4-6 hours through the rest of the day. So everything you eat will digest quicker. Not to mention how great it is to start your day with a little morning workout.
